In this video an insightful movie critic called The Critical Drinker offers his take on why movies today do not compare to movies of the past. He makes several observations about why this is, and also how it relates to society as a whole today. He offers specific examples how today’s movies, and society, has been dumbed-down to the intellect level of children. Instead of having a discussion and debate with someone who has a different opinion, screaming and violence takes place today. Gone are the times when people could respect other opinions,  and not hate, but listen and maybe even learn something they did not know. His observations are on point.
